COACH OF THE YEAR 2010

a bit about me

NadineI was born and brought up in South Wales, and after living and working in London for most of my career I now live back home in Penarth, just outside Cardiff, with my husband Alun (aka Frank Honeybone), and our son Tommy.

Like you I have many roles in my life, from wife, mother, housekeeper, business owner through to daughter, carer and friend, and whilst I value each role it is important to me that what I spend my time on each day inspires me and allows me to focus on what's really important.  I know we could all do with more time in the day, and I believe that finding out our core values and life purpose is crucial to making the most of our time and living a fulfilled life every day.

In my private life my inspiration is my family, and particularly my son, Tommy. At the age of 2 he was diagnosed with Autism, and as a parent of a child with special needs I  found myself completely thrown in at the deep end with very little support. After a steep learning curve I have now devoted my life to helping and supporting other families with Autism.  In 2010 I founded the charity "The Autism Directory" whose mission is to help autism families get the help they need. My businesses are very proud sponsors of this charity.

In my professional life I have 22 years experience in business management and consulting working with Accenture and the senior management teams of some of the major blue chip companies around the UK, including BT, Pfizer and Prudential. For 4 years I also held a directorship for a London based consultancy and I continue to run my own businesses today. My expertise is in developing people and businesses through the management of change; whether that is business change in terms of the people, processes and technology that is required to meet an organisation's goals, or the change that is required to improve someone's performance in business, or indeed any area of their life.

As an accredited Coach, Trainer and Master Practitioner of NLP, I help people from a range of backgrounds to achieve their personal and business goals, and as a result to live happier, more balanced and fulfilled lives.  In fact, 100% of my clients have achieved goals earlier than expected.

Whether it's in your personal or business life, my focus when I'm working with you is on creating a life that inspires you, gives you passion and allows you to focus yourself on what's really important.

UPDATE SEPTEMBER 2010

Many coaches fail to live up to what they preach. They are strong advocates for others to change but refuse to develop themselves. I strongly believe that as a coach I also must invest in my personal development, and be coached so that myself and my business grow to their full potential.

I invest over £6,000 in my own personal and business development each year, and as part of this I attend the annual 'Coaching & NLP Superconference' in London.  Last September I sat amongst the audience at this conference and was overwhelmed by the quality of the content and inspired by the speakers.  This September I was on that stage too and I competed with 5 extremely successful coaches from around the UK to win 'Coach of The Year 2010'.  I won and my prize was a 5* holiday in the Maldives (I'll post some photos when we've been!).

And here is my trophy!

My own goals are centered around my purpose in life which is to help others lead lives of passion and purpose, to find happiness and fulfillment, to raise expectations of what we all can achieve and improve our performance and results in all areas of our lives.
